Game Recap

Sandy Valley boys were knocked out of the sectional tournament this past weekend with a thrilling 3-2 loss away to Caldwell. The Cardinals were slow out of the blocks in the first half and fell to a two-goal deficit. However, in the second-half the men in red showed a lot of fight and tremendous character to pull it back to 2-2 with goals from Bryce Stenger and Brayden Ashton. The game went into overtime as both teams pushed for the win. Unfortunately, the boys were caught on the counter-attack in the second half and there was nothing goalkeeper Caleb Everetts could do to stop the goal. The Cardinals finished off a great season and demonstrated everything that encapsulated Sandy Valley athletics! Go Cards!
