The Cardinals recorded their first win of the season at the home of the McKinley Bulldogs last night. All of the scoring was done in the first half of the game and came in relatively quick succession. It took the visitors twenty minutes to break the deadlock after a penalty that was won by Bryce Stenger was converted by Kanyon McCort. Goals from Stenger, Mauer, and Moriconi quickly followed and the Cardinals took a resounding lead into the half-time interval. The second half was a much more eclectic affair that saw no real quality or pattern of play from either team. The Cardinals continue their season in an away fixture against Tusky Valley this Wednesday @5pm.
