The Cardinals went 3-1 at the Sandusky St Mary’s Duals Friday evening. SV defeated St Mary’s 60-8, Genoa 64-12, and, Archbold 45-23. The Cards had a respectable showing against the #1 ranked D3 team in the state, Milan Edison, losing 45-23.
Individually, top performers were: Evan Natale, Seth Armstrong, Bear Watkins, Cam Blair, & Wyatt Moyer went 4-0.
Brandon Boggs, Matthew Gentry, & Alec Trent went 3-1.
Brody Marks & Justin King went 2-2.
The team will be busy next week, wrestling the IVC Tournament Wednesday at Claymont at 5pm, wrestling a Home Tri against Philo & Coshocton Thursday at 6pm, and the Division 3 State Duals in Versailles HS on Saturday.
