The Sandy Valley Girls Soccer Team hosted St. Thomas Aquinas on 10/17. The Cardinals came away with a 1-0 win. Leading the offense was Nadelie Perdew with one goal and 1 shot on goal, Sadie Martin with 3 shots on goal, Julie Muller with 2 shots on goal, and Alexis Dotson with 1 shot on goal.
Defensively the Cards were led by Morgan VanMeter with 8 saves at goalkeeper, Lexi Rohrer, Emma Mace and Emma Frazier.had many stops , steals and transitions moving the ball to the offensive side of the field.
the Cardinals will play a sectional game at Highland on 10/20 2 4;30pm.
