Sandy Valley had a respectable showing at the Division 3 State Dual Championships, losing to Division III State Champions Edison 52-20 in the first round, and losing to Versailles 35-25 in the second round.
Individually, Evan Natale and Cam Blair went 2-0, while Brandon Boggs, Tommy Russell, Seth Armstrong, Brody Marks, Bam Moyer, Bear Watkins, Matthew Gentry, & Wyatt Moyer went 1-1.

I’m very proud of the team for getting this far. We are lucky to have the opportunity to compete with such quality competition this late in the season. I’m blessed to have wrestlers wanting to get better everyday. We still have a lot to work on in a short time. We are at a critical point in the season where we must use our time wisely. I’m hoping we learn from our mistakes we made this weekend and it makes us much better before we head into Sectionals.

Cards are back in action on Wednesday 2/10 with a Tri against Malvern & Tusky Valley at home.
