Sandy Valley Boy’s place in 2 events at Woodridge

At Saturday’s highly competitive Stark County Championship meet, the Cardinals finished in 10th place in the Division 2-3 portion of the meet.  Leading the way for the cardinals were: Bryce Stenger- 6th in the pole vault Isaac Knight- 7th in the 800 meter run Bronson Frank- 8th in the 800 meter run 4 x 400

At the 15th annual Lidderdale Invitational held at Sandy Valley the Cardinals finished in 10th place with 13 points. Leading the way for Sandy Valley and placing at a very competitive meet were the following: Isaac Knight- 6th place in the 800m run Adam Ruegg- 5th place in the shot put Elijah Eyster- 4th place

Sandy Valley boy’s track finishes in 3rd place

At Tuesday night’s triangular track meet with host Ridgewood and Newcomerstown, the Sandy Valley Boy’s finished in 3rd place.  Winning the meet was Newcomerstown with 66 points, Ridgewood was in 2nd with 65 points, and Sandy valley in 3rd with 36 points.  Placing for the cardinals were: 1st place: 4 x 800 meter relay- Nash

With the meet called off early due to weather Sandy Valley boy’s were sitting in third place.  Leading the meet was East Canton, followed by Malvern, then Sandy Valley and in 4th place was TCC.  Placing for the Cardinals were: Adam Ruegg-2nd in shot put, 5th in high jump, and 3rd in 4oom relay Colin

At a very competitive Fairless Falcon Invitational the Sandy Valley Boy’s only managed to place in one event.  The Cardinals placed 7th in the 4x400m relay, relay members included Jordon Finlayson, Bronson Frank, Michael Lewton, and Nash Monroe.  The Cardinals will host East Canton, Malvern, and TCC on Tuesday.

Rymer heading to Walsh University

Aleks Rymer has committed to run track at Walsh University.  Aleks was a 4 year letter winner on the track for the Cardinals.  He competed in multiple events ranging from distance to sprints during his career as a Cardinal.  Aleks Rymer was the senior leader on a 4×800 meter relay team that placed second in
